Second contest of the year. I really start liking the 160 m CW contests, lots of activity. 😎 It’s probably about time to plan some serious entries and especially good low band antennas! While our full-size Lazy Loop works great for Europe it is by nature rather an NVIS antenna at only 8 to 17 m height. So always struggling with the weak DX. A groundplane plus dedicated RX antennas will certainly do a much better job. If we only had enough time … (and space, not much there for permanent installations).
