VHF DX par excellence

QSOs worked on 4 m today.

What a day! 😎

Luckily I arrived early at the QTH as I’m going to participate in WPX-CW this weekend. This enabled me to work VK8AW (PH57) for my first Australian station on 6 m and finally completing WAC on 6 m. 😎 A lot of other juicy DX was worked on the Magic Band but I concentrated on 4 & 2 m as the MUF was very high and even enabled double hop QSOs with EA8DEG (IL18, 3755 km) as well as SØ1WS (IL46, 3638 km) on 70 MHz. 🙂

The MUF then finally rose above 144 MHz in the evening and enabled these fine QSOs:
